A simple cremation is the simplest form of funeral costing from £1,470 with a service (unattended from £1,031). A simple cremation includes care of the deceased, transport to the crematorium and celebrant led service. Hearse, limousines and pallbearers are excluded to keep costs low.

Simple Cremation – What’s Included?
Organizing a simple cremation is exactly the same as arranging a traditional funeral. All the legal documentation remains the same. The death must be registered and the cremation forms submitted. We will settle the crematorium and doctors fees (if applicable) on your behalf.
Once you have instructed us to act on your behalf we will liaise with the crematorium and arrange the service for a date and time that is convenient for you.
Simple Cremation Funeral Service
Almost all of the services we perform are led by Leanne, we offer our Simple Cremations Personal Service free of charge. Leanne will meet with you to discuss your requirements or alternatively we can arrange things over the telephone which ever you would prefer.
If you would like your own celebrant, for a religious ceremony for example, this is absolutely fine but their fee will be an additional cost.
On the day of the funeral
On the day of the funeral we will transport your loved one to the crematorium and take them in to the chapel. (A wheeled bier is used to move the coffin, alternatively the family can bear the coffin if they wish.)
We aim to arrive early and have your loved one resting in the chapel before family and friends arrive.
Immediate family will be invited in to the chapel shortly before the service begins to make sure everything looks exactly as you expect. Some people like to do this, others prefer not to.
Attendees will be led in to the chapel and the service will begin.
We try our very best to cater for any special requirements you may have for your service, please feel free to contact us to discuss any particular wishes.
Once the service has finished family and friends will be directed out of the chapel.
If you would like your loved ones ashes returning we are happy to do this free of charge within Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Alternatively, we can arrange to have the ashes scattered for you.
