Your questions answered
I live in Spain and my mum has passed away in Barnsley. It was her wish to have a direct cremation. Can you look after her ashes until we are able to pick them up for a celebration of life in a few weeks?
This is no problem at all. We often look after ashes in cases where the family is unable to take possession of them or perhaps don’t feel ready to have them back. We can arrange to bring the ashes to you once you are back in the area.
We would like a low-cost funeral service at Barnsley crematorium. Your website states that you provide a funeral celebrant for free but we would like to use our own celebrant (we have used him for other family funerals), is this okay?
Absolutely. Leanne always offers her services as a celebrant for free but there is no obligation to use her. Be aware however that celebrants are likely to charge over £200.
